  2. Yeah, well, Bond movies are "for guys" I guess! But I'm glad we can agree on WALL-E.

  3. I haven't watched WALL-E, but from all accounts I should - but yes, I can't wait for the next Bond movie either.

Did either of you watch Ratatouille? How does it compare?

  4. I haven't seen Ratatouille, sorry. But WALL-E was about as good as say, The Incredibles (even if kids are the core audience cos it's a cartoon, there's plenty in it that grown-ups can enjoy too)

  5. As much as I liked Ratatouille (it was very cute and exactly the sort of film girls would like-- hehe) Wall-e was even better. It's really fantastic how expressive the robots are given there isn't much room for expresson-- it must have been quite a task for the film makers.

I just watched Changeling and Ghost Town yesterday and they were great too fyi (especially the former)!

  6. You just put Wall-E on top of my to-watch list - Ratatouille is the best animated movie I've seen in a while. I've dabbled a little with making these and you're absolutely right, it's really difficult to give expressions to what you're animating.

Unfortunately I am really out of touch with the movies right now because I am moving from place to place - Ironman was showing in Singapore, stopped as I arrived, and started showing in Japan just after I left :(
