p.s. Simon: Of course I remember you! I'm glad we made it!
Yeah, I assumed you remembered me but just wanted to double-check since it's been a few weeks ;-P
ReplyDeleteI got in touch with Charlie, who will be my boss and presumably yours too. He seems like a cool guy from what I hear. Which is nice!
I totally agree about how it's nice to meet people from different backgrounds. I had a lot of that during my English teaching days. Ah, memories...
I checked out your profile: your Japanese appears to be better than mine, although that's hardly a surprise because mine... needs a lot of work.
p.s. When are you coming to Japan?
I haven't gotten in touch with our bosses yet! It says on the paper I had to sign that I'd be reporting to Paul. Maybe I should double check.
ReplyDeleteI met a lot of different people during my exchange in Tokyo as well. It makes for good memories, I must say!
I'm starting in March so I am thinking of going to Japan maybe a week or two earlier. We should meet up if we can. When are you going?
Yeah, It says that Paul is my boss on my contract too. I don't really know any more than that, though.
ReplyDeleteActually I'm in Japan now. I'm thinking of visiting home in the middle of February, but it'd be nice if we could meet up at a pub or something... maybe a week or so before the job starts?
Yes, let's. I'll see you a week or so before the job starts then. When I have the details about exactly when I leave for Japan I'll post it here and maybe send a mail to your Gmail?
